A Bit About Our Website

PTPL’s website was developed by Melody Watson using a custom-designed Squarespace template.

The photo in the website’s banner was taken by one of several disposable cameras sent to PTPL’s partners in Congo by the Greensboro board with the request that they send us pictures of their daily lives.  The colorful background design is a photo of fabric brought from Congo by board member Anne McKee, who lived and raised her family in Congo.

Antoinette Russell and Lynne Gray, board members of PTPL, collaborated with Melody Watson to develop the site.  That relationship arose from a chance conversation between Lynne and Melody at a dinner party and Antoinette joined the group when – as a brand new board member at her first meeting – she mentioned that she had some experience and much interest in graphics and design.  The website design and information arose from a true combination of ideas offered by all three women, and we believe the site mirrors that perfectly.
