On March 15, 2008,the Greensboro, NC, News & Record published a feature on Baim and Mimi and People to People Liaison written by Jeri Rowe.

In the article Jeri tells why Mimi and Baim believed they had to leave Congo and how they came to Greensboro, North Carolina. He also speaks of their passion for helping the people in their homeland and how that work has been embraced by friends in Iowa and North Carolina. The article ran the Saturday after PTPL's Celebration on March 9, 2008, so Jeri tells of the excitement Mimi and Baim and the other board members of PTPL felt at the Celebration's success.
